Boplan SG Swing Gate Flex Impact Safety Gates
The SG Swing Gate is a safety gate that you can swing open on both sides. It is quite common to carelessly leave open gates and access ways to hallways and machine rooms. Thanks to the SG Swing Gate, this will be a thing of the past. This safety gate will close automatically, ensuring that your access points will remain permanently closed to unauthorised personnel.
The SG Swing Gate is perfect for use with our FLEX IMPACT® crash protection system. The integration of a safety gate with a sideways swing gate is suited to any room which has sufficient freedom of movement. The SG Swing Gate can be supplemented in a modular structure by the FLEX IMPACT® handrails or balustrades. Together, these safety elements ensure smooth, safe traffic between the various zones in your company.
As standard, the SG Swing gate can be opened in both directions, but this gate stop can be installed to prevent the gate from swinging out in one direction if required. This prevents the swing gate being opened out into traffic areas and causing a potential safety hazard. It can also be used where there is not enough room for the gate to swing out in both directions. This gate stop is designed for easy installation.
A closing block can be installed to your SG swing gate to prevent the gate from being fixed in the open position. The gate will return to its closed position, reducing the risk of exposure to dangerous areas and keeping your access points closed to unauthorised personnel. SG Swing gates are modular in design to be easily used in conjunction with our FLEX IMPACT® handrails.
For gates longer than 1.5 metres in length the wheel support is fitted as standard. This solution is ideal for longer Swing Gates as it prevents the outer end of your gate hanging out due to its own weight. The wheel support is added to the opening end of your gate and helps to support the weight of the gate and reduce the stress on the hinges.

ACTIVE MEMORY
FLEX IMPACT® has been specially designed to absorb the force released in a collision with a heavy vehicle. In the event of a collision, the material simply bends and then returns to its original shape again afterwards.
EASY TO USE MODULAR DESIGN
Various modular building blocks can be used to compose a variety of configurations. The locking method doesn’t require screws or bolts, allowing certain freedom of movement between connecting elements. A fixed locking method would increase the risk to break upon impact.
LIGHTWEIGHT COMPARED TO STEEL
FLEX IMPACT® safety products are much lighter and therefore much easier to transport than their classic counterparts in steel. One might expect light materials to be weaker, but that is far from the truth.
STRENGTH EQUIVALENT TO STEEL
The flexible polymer used in our FLEX IMPACT® safety products is at least equal to the classic steel safety solutions that have been outpaced by modern technology.
LONG LIFESPAN + LOW MAINTENANCE = COST SAVING
FLEX IMPACT® crash protection requires little to no maintenance. In addition, due to the impact resistance, the costs of restoration and replacement will be kept to a minimum.
NO FLOOR DAMAGE
When colliding against one of our FLEX IMPACT® safety products, the force of the impact will be absorbed by the flexible polymer and subsequently distributed throughout the entire volume of the safety post or safety fences. The force of the impact will therefore no longer be focused on the base. This ensures that the FLEX IMPACT products will last much longer and withstand collisions far better without damaging the floor.
TESTED AND APPROVED
In the execution of the safety tests, we work in close collaboration with highly recommended partners, such as Transpolis L.I.E.R. laboratories. When the tests produce a successful result, these authorities grant us their certification and label.
